The
Snippets Database
The snippets database give users an easy-to-use tool to
save web content offline. The idea is to save only pieces of content instead
of complete web pages. The directory structure is similar to the Windows
folder structure. Snippets are saved to the database (images are currently
saved in a separate folder). The snippets is integrated into the web browser.
Saved information is therefore easy to find and since it is in a database,
the whole snippet directory can be copied to another computer simply by
copying the database file and image folder.
The left-click popup menu gives you a host of snippet functions.
For example print, copy, save, edit and compile to article.
The nice thing about the snippets is that you do not need
to search fo saved files on your computer disks, it is all available within
the browser.
